First Walnut Table

The First Walnut Table is the original model of this dining table design, created as the first piece in the series. The table combines handcrafted woodworking, architectural metal construction and natural American walnut to create a contemporary solid wood dining table designed for modern interiors.

The tabletop is made from solid rustic American walnut, selected for its expressive grain patterns and natural depth of colour. Walnut wood naturally displays strong variations in texture, giving the surface a unique visual movement that changes depending on light and viewing angle.

At the centre of the tabletop a geometric woven wood pattern is integrated into the design. The composition of carefully arranged walnut elements creates the visual impression of a wooden weave, adding depth and craftsmanship to the surface while remaining subtle and refined.

Natural wood cracks are reinforced with structural bow-tie wood inlays, which act as both a technical stabilization element and a decorative feature. These traditional woodworking details highlight the handcrafted character of the table.

All natural cracks are filled with pure epoxy resin, stabilizing the wood and ensuring long-term durability while preserving the organic structure of the walnut.

Product Details

The tabletop is protected using an oil primer base layer and finished with Rubio Monocoat Pure oil, which enhances the natural walnut grain while maintaining a matte, natural wood appearance.

The soft oval shaping of the tabletop ends creates a smoother visual transition along the edges and makes the large dining surface appear lighter and more elegant. This subtle curvature also improves movement around the table in everyday use.

The base is constructed from architectural steel legs finished in Sonoma Green Metallic, the official colour used on the Audi RS5. The rotated leg geometry creates a visually dynamic structure while ensuring excellent stability.

Inside the legs, hidden adjustable leveling feet allow the table to adapt to uneven floor surfaces without affecting the visual purity of the design.
